Sweet 16 Birthday Cake

I made this "Sweet 16 Cake".  It was covered in lollipops, sixteen white chocolate candles and a pulled sugar swirl coming out from the top.  I love making Sweet 16 cakes covered in lollipops.  The name plate was made out of chocolate.  On the top tier there are leopard prints made out of chocolate. My niece loves animal prints.   I actually made two cakes  for my niece because she had 2 parties.  One for friends and the other for family.   I will be posting the pic of the second cake soon. This cake was a red velvet from my red velvet cupcake recipe and French Custard Buttercream Frosting. I love making really bright colored birthday cakes.  Sweet 16 Birthday Cakes should be all about fun and the cake should be youthful and happy!

The chocolate candles are always a hit!
The kids love the homemade lollipops.
